私は”温厚な”と言う表現が大嫌いである。温厚な人といわれる人を見てきたが、殆ど、

自我が確立していない人、すなわち自分の主義・主張・定見のない人、
なんでもあいまいにして一時しのぎで逃げる人、
その場その場の雰囲気に合わせて適当な絵を描く人、
一見物分りの良さそうな言葉を発し問題の先送りをしてしまう人、
要は聖徳太子が言う「事理を明らかにしない」人で、
本当は卑怯な人のことである。

聖徳太子のいう「和を以て貴しと為す」は「事理を明らかにすれば、争い事は収まる」という意味である。しかし殆どの日本人は意味を吐き違い「事理を明らかにしようとする人を“理屈やで協調性がなく、和を乱す協調性のない人”と逆の解釈をしている。
